Angels Superstar Likely to Have Surgery at Some Point

The Angels and Shohei Ohtani's relationship is seemingly coming to an end in a few short months. Ohtani is currently hitting at the DH spot, but has taken the rest of the year off due to his UCL injury.

Ohtani's agent, Nez Balelo, announced Monday that Shohei is in a good place with his injury, but that surgery seems to be "inevitable". He also added that Ohtani received positive feedback regarding his injury, from multiple doctors.

The plus side of things is that Ohtani has a chance to skip Tommy John surgery and he is in "good spirits". Ohtani is adding yet another phenomenal season to his resume and is gearing up for his sweepstakes come this offseason.
