
The Houston Astros took down the Texas Rangers yesterday by a final score of 10-3 as they evened up the ALCS at 2-2. The Rangers took the first two games from the Astros in Houston, now the Astros took the next two from the Rangers in Texas.
The Astros had all things working in game 4. Offense, defense, they were firing on all cylinders. The Astros got runs from 4 different players. Alex Bregman had 2 RBI's, Yordan Alvarez had 3 RBI's, José Abreu had 3 RBI's, and Chas McCormick had 2 RBI's. The Astros also had 11 hits. The Rangers offense scored just 3 runs.
The Astros pitchers held the Rangers the whole game. The Astros used 5 pitchers to get the win in game 4. They used José Urqiudy who started the game, they then went to the bullpen and went to Ryne Stanek, after that it was Hunter Brown, followed by Phil Maton, and Rafael Montero finished it. The Rangers didn't have any luck with their pitching. Andrew Heaney who started the game for the Rangers went just 0.2 IP.
Game 5 will be today. Whoever wins will go up 3-2 in the series and will be one win away from a trip to the World Series. The Astros will have veteran pitcher Justin Verlander on the mound and the Rangers will have their best pitcher this playoffs Jordan Montgomery on the mound.
