The Houston Astros and all star closer, Josh Hader, are in agreement on a five year deal worth $95 million. The deal contains no defferals, also, there is a full no-trade clause in the deal. According to ESPN's, Jeff Passan.

Josh Hader will join an already eletric back end of the bullpen on the Astros. Hader joins Ryan Pressley and Bryan Abreu. Josh Hader and Ryan Pressley will be the 8th and 9th inning guys. That duo of Josh Hader and Ryan Pressley is going to be one of the most dominant duo in the back-end of a bullpen.

Josh Hader has solidified himself as one of the best closers in baseball. He had another insane year in 2023. In 61 appearances, Josh Hader had a 2-3 record, 1.28 ERA, 33 saves, 85 SO, and a 1.101 WHIP. Josh Hader's 1.28 ERA was one of the best in all of baseball.

The Astros got a good one with Josh Hader. He will add so much to the Astros bullpen. With the Astros losing Kendall Graveman for the full 2023 season, Josh Hader will replace him and some. The Astros have created one of the best bullpens in all of baseball, and it's going to be fun to watch.
