The Dodgers recently announced Clayton Kershaw as their game one starter in the NLDS against the Arizona Diamondbacks. That seemed to be the right choice due to the fact that Kershaw was the Dodgers best pitcher all season long. Well, that wasn't the case last night.
Clayton Kershaw has never been known to be a good starting pitcher in the playoffs. Although, this may have been his worst start in the playoffs in his career. Clayton Kershaw's final line was, 0.1 IP, 6 H, 6 ER, 1 BB, 0 SO.
The Dodgers were obviously expecting Clayton Kershaw to pitch much better then this. Hopefully if Clayton Kershaw makes another start in this NLDS, he'll be able to forget about this and bounce back.
