Dodgers Advance to World Series

The Los Angeles Dodgers have defeated the New York Mets in the National League Championship Series. They did it in 6 games. The Dodgers are going to the World Series for the first time since 2020. They will take on the New York Yankees beginning on Friday, October 25th.

First, the New York Mets deserve all the credit in the world. Absolutely no one expected the Mets to make it this far. At one point in the season the Mets were 11 games out of a playoff spot and started the season 0-5. The Mets have a lot to look forward to this off-season and into the 2025 season.

Now, for the World Series matchup, it will be the Yankees vs Dodgers as mentioned above. This will be the 12th time in MLB history that these two teams face off in the Fall Classic.

There’s certainly a lot to look forward to in this year’s World Series. There’s MVP’s on both teams, it’s No. 1 seed vs No. 1 seed, and East coast vs West coast. In addition to that, both teams are so complete all around in each position.

The 2024 World Series is now set. MLB has waited a while for this matchup and will have it again. This series should be a great one and there are just two teams standing and it is the Yankees and Dodgers.
