The official page of the Los Angeles Dodgers on X announced yesterday that INF Cavan Biggio was DFA’d. The club activated first baseman Freddie Freeman.

It was a short stint for Cavan Biggio in Los Angeles. He spent just a few weeks with them. Biggio did show some flashes of turning his season around, but it was time for both Biggio and the Dodgers to part ways.

Cavan Biggio has been apart of two teams this season. He spent the beginning of the season with the Toronto Blue Jays. Then, he was traded to the Los Angeles Dodgers. Now, he will have the chance to go to another team.

Between the Blue Jays and the Dodgers, Cavan Biggio has had a rough season. In total, he’s appeared in 74 games, Biggio has slashed .197/.316/.306, with 5 HR, 19 RBI, and a .622 OPS.

The season is coming to an end. We are now entering the last few months. Cavan Biggio will have the chance to go to another contender and fight for a championship if another team does decide to take a chance on him.
