In the seventh inning, with two outs and runners on second and third, Shohei Ohtani was given the ball by the Marlins. It produced a home run to opposite field that was good for his 50th. On a day when he went 5 for 5 with two home runs and two stolen bases.
During his first season as a new squad member, his closest friend embezzled $16 million from him. As recovering after elbow reconstruction surgery... Shohei Ohtani started the 50/50 Club. A truly remarkable feat for a remarkable player.
Shohei Ohtani’s career has been nothing short of spectacular. In his first season with the Dodgers, he has now written his own chapter in the history books.
