MIAMI, FL: Shohei Ohtani’s greatness continues. Ohtani has been chasing a new chapter in MLB history, by becoming the first player to reach 50 home runs and 50 steals in a single season. Last night, that’s exactly what he did.

In the seventh inning, with two outs and runners on second and third, Shohei Ohtani was given the ball by the Marlins. It produced a home run to opposite field that was good for his 50th. On a day when he went 5 for 5 with two home runs and two stolen bases.

During his first season as a new squad member, his closest friend embezzled $16 million from him. As recovering after elbow reconstruction surgery... Shohei Ohtani started the 50/50 Club. A truly remarkable feat for a remarkable player.

Shohei Ohtani’s career has been nothing short of spectacular. In his first season with the Dodgers, he has now written his own chapter in the history books. Last night was a special night for the club and Ohtani, a night in which the Dodgers clinched a postseason spot. 2024 will be the first year Ohtani gets a taste of October baseball.
