The New York Mets have not had many positives this season, however, star shortstop Francisco Lindor has been one of them. Yesterday, Lindor joined the exclusive 30-30 club. Recording 30 home runs along with 30 stolen bases has been the inevitable for Francisco Lindor.
Lindor has been on a tear this season and his stats show no argument. Slashing .254/.333/.469 with 30 home runs and 96 RBI, the 9-year veteran has showed his talents repeatedly.
Lindor joins Darryl Strawberry, Howard Johnson, and David Wright as the only Mets to be apart of the 30-30 club. With 8 years still left on his blockbuster contract, Lindor has plenty of time to add another year or two onto his 30-30 history.
