The 2025 Major League Baseball season is officially underway. Yesterday was opening day across the league. Many teams were able to find out what they have to work with. MLB has a very long season, there’s plenty of time for teams to figure it out if you might be worried about your team after just one game.
The Washington Nationals are a ball team who don’t really expect to make it very far this season. Although, what they do expect to do is make some noise and prove a lot of people wrong. The Nats young core expect to make improvements all around the diamond this year.
One of those young players are left-handed pitcher MacKenzie Gore. Gore is just 26-years-old. The Nationals did drop their opening day game to the Phillies but Gore certainly wasn’t the reason for it. After he was taken out, it all went down hill for the Nationals which ended up in a Phillies victory.
