The 2024 National League Championship Series is officially set after game 5 of the NLDS yesterday. The No. 6 seed New York Mets will take on the No. 1 seed Los Angeles Dodgers for a chance to play in the World Series. These are the final two teams in the National League and it’ll be a great matchup.

These two teams are different in a lot of ways. To start the season, the New York Mets started off rough to say the least. By the All-Star break, they were back in the playoff race and decided not to sell at the deadline. Now, the Mets have been the hottest team in all of baseball ever since then and have defeated the Brewers and Phillies to get to this point.

The Los Angeles Dodgers have been one of the best teams all season long. They had the best record in all of baseball. They have battled a few injuries throughout the season but have now reached the NLCS for the first time since 2021. They had the first-round bye and defeated the Padres in the NLDS.

Here is the NLCS schedule between the Mets and Dodgers:

Game 1: Date: 10/13, Time: 8:15 ET, Location: LA

Game 2: Date: 10/14, Time: 4:08 ET, Location: LA

Game 3: Date: 10/16, Time: 8:08 ET, Location: NY

Game 4: Date: 10/17, Time: TBD, Location: NY

This matchup between the Mets and Dodgers is primed to be a great one. This is a matchup that will determine who will represent the National League in the World Series. This is what teams work all season long for, and the Mets and Dodgers have earned to be in this spot.
