The Philadelphia Phillies are promoting prospect Justin Crawford to Double-A Reading. He is expected to arrive today. According to sports reporter Chase Ford of MiLB Central.

Justin Crawford is ranked as the Phillies No. 3 prospect. He is their No. 1 OF prospect. In the full MiLB list of prospects, he No. 55. Crawford continues to climb the list of each and every category.

The Phillies selected Justin Crawford with the 17th pick in the 2022 MLB draft. He signed with the club for $3.89 million. Crawford was assigned to the Clearwater Threshers as soon as he was drafted. He is compared to a lot of great outfielders in today’s game.

Justin Crawford has spent this season in High-A. He has been tearing it up on all sides of the baseball. In 70 games, Crawford is slashing .301/.349/.438, with 6 HR, 4 3B, 35 RBI, 27 SB, and a .787 OPS.

It’s no small sample size when looking at Justin Crawford’s stats. It’s pretty simple to figure out that he has been a top hitter in minor league baseball this season. Crawford will now look to continue that in Double-A Reading as he continues to make his way to the MLB.
