Rangers Sweep the Orioles, Headed to the ALCS for the First time Since 2011

The Texas Rangers defeated the Baltimore Orioles yesterday by a final score of 7-1. With this win, the Rangers swept the Orioles in the ALDS, and will represent the AL as one of the two teams in the ALCS for the first time since 2011.


The Rangers offense was firing on all cylinders yesterday. They got home runs by, Corey Seager, Adolis García, and Nathaniel Lowe. For the Rangers pitching, they had one of their top pitchers on the mound, and he delivered. Nathan Eovaldi's final line was, 7 IP, 5 H, 1 ER, 0 BB, and 7 SO.


Now that the Texas Rangers took care of business in the ALDS by sweeping the Orioles. They will now wait for their opponent for the ALCS. It will be either the Houston Astros, or the Minnesota Twins.
