Per multiple reports, the Boston Red Sox are showing "strong interest" in a reunion with left-handed starting pitcher, James Paxton. Paxton, 35, signed with Boston prior to the 2021 season while rehabbing from Tommy-John surgery.

James Paxton has proved himself to be a very reliable pitcher for a team in the MLB. He's been solid since the start of his career. Paxton has made 156 career starts, 64-38 record, 850.2 innings pitched, 3.69 ERA, 932 SO, and a 1.22 WHIP.

James Paxton made his MLB debut in 2013. Paxton has played for the Seattle Mariners from 2013-2018, the New York Yankees from 2019-2020, then again the Seattle Mariners in 2021, Paxton missed all of 2022, and finally pitched for the Boston Red Sox in 2023.

The Boston Red Sox could definitely use a pitcher like James Paxton. He gives them a lot. A left handed in their rotation and a solid pitcher. It's going to be intresting to see if the Red Sox can work out a deal to bring James Paxton back to Boston.
