The Cincinnati Reds have claimed utility man Amed Rosario. Per, writer Charlie Goldsmith. The Dodgers traded for Rosario at the trade deadline. He was then DFA’d due to their roster.
The Reds have been searching for depth and bench this entire season. There can never be enough depth on a team that’s young like the Reds. Amed Rosario is the perfect depth piece. He can play all around the infield and gives any team a boost on offense.
Amed Rosario has been apart of two teams this season. The Tampa Bay Rays and Los Angeles Dodgers. Now, his third team of the season will be the Cincinnati Reds. Rosario is a nice veteran piece in the clubhouse.
Any team who takes a chance on Amed Rosario can say that he gives it his all. He’s a really solid player. In a total of 81 games this season, Rosario is slashing .305/.331/.415, 2 HR, 28 RBI, 10 SB, and a .746 OPS.
Amed Rosario’s stats are really impressive. Especially for having to be on multiple teams. That can mess up some players, but it certainly isn’t effecting Amed Rosario. Rosario will now give the Reds an option for an offensive substitution or even a defensive substitution.
