The Cincinnati Reds are in agreement with right handed pitcher, Alan Busenitz on a minor league deal. The Reds have been pretty active in the pitching market this off-season, they've added RHP Nick Martinez and RHP Emilio Pagan to their pitching staff. Now, the add Alan Busenitz.

Alan Busenitz only pitched in the MLB in 6 games last year. Busenitz posted a 0-0 record, 2.57 ERA, 5 SO, just 1 walk, and a 1.286 WHIP. Before 2023, Busenitz last pitching the MLB in 2018. He made his debut in 2017.

The year that really stands out for Alan Busenitz is 2017. He pitched with the Minnesota Twins. Busenitz had a great year in 2017. In 28 games, he posted a 1-1 record, 31.2 IP, an outstanding 1.99 ERA, 9 BB's, 23 SO, and a 0.98 WHIP.

It was a few years ago, but if Alan Busenitz can return to his form from 2017, this could be a good signing for the Cincinnati Reds. It's going to depend on how Busenitz will perform in spring training. Hopefully for the Reds, Alan Busenitz can return to what he used to be with the Twins.
