Texas Rangers Receive Two Big Bats to Their Lineup

The Texas Rangers reinstated 3B Josh Jung, and RF Adolis García from the 10-day IL. Josh Jung was on the IL due to a left thumb fracture, and Adolis García was on the IL due to a right patellar tendon strain.

Josh Jung was an all-star for a reason this year. In 110 starts, Jung is slashing .272/.321/.486, with 22 HR's, 67 RBI's, and a .807 OPS. Josh Jung is in just his second year as an MLB player.

Adolis García was also an all-star this year. In 136 starts, García is slashing .243/.322/.492, with 34 HR's, 100 RBI's, and a .814 OPS.

It's hard to explain how much help this gives the Texas Rangers. For offense, and defense. Both Josh Jung and Adolis García have plus offense and defense. As the Rangers are in the final stretch in trying to make the playoffs, this news comes at the perfect time for the Texas Rangers.
