Yesterday, MLB officially announced the rosters for both AL & NL in this years All-Star Game. This years All-Star Game will be played in a little over a week on July 11, at T-Mobile Park in Seattle.
There is no doubt that these teams are stacked. Which is obvious. However, some of the names above jump out at you due to the difference of competition this season. Teams such as the Diamondbacks, Reds, and Orioles have blown all expectations out of the water and are ready to compete at a high level.
As MLB is growing it's game, it's only fitting that one of the biggest names on this list are internationally born players. 15 on the AL roster, 10 on the NL roster, which gives us a total of 25 internationally born All-Stars.
Some other intriguing stats regarding the All-Star Game is the amount of players from each team. The Braves lead with a total of 8 players heading to Seattle, with the Rangers right behind them at 6.
This season's All-Star Game is going to be must watch. With the game's best players going at it, it's going to be interesting to say the least. However, the biggest question is, will the National League be able to end their drought this season?
