This Athletics Rookie is Off to a Great Start in His Career

The Oakland Athletics haven't had many things to cheer about this year. Although, they certainly have one. Rookie, Zack Gelof is a name everyone should start to keep an eye on. Anyone would want a start to their career like Zack Gelof has had.

Zack Gelof was called up by the Athletics on July 14th. Ever since that, he's been on a tear. In 49 MLB games, Gelof is slashing .278/.341/.541, to go along with that he's hit 11 HR's, 25 RBI's, 10 SB, and a .882 OPS.

As a whole, the Athletics season has been a complete disaster/disappointment, but they sure can look to Zack Gelof to have excitement about. Zack Gelof certainly has a bright future in the MLB.
