BRONX, NY: The 2022 season was a memorable one for the Yankees superstar Aaron Judge. One that earned him a 9-year, $360 million contract to stay in the Bronx and be named the next captain of the historic franchise.
That season consisted of Judge bringing home the AL MVP Award and breaking Roger Maris’ AL home run record. Judge blasted a remarkable 62 home runs that year, leading the Yankees to another playoff appearance.
Fast forward to 2024, Judge is putting up almost identical numbers. The slugger has blasted a league leading 51 home runs, while slashing .332/.725/.1.189. The sheer volume of Judge’s stats bounce off a stat sheet and make everyone question whether the captain is even human.

Judge is having a superhuman type season. One we haven’t seen in a very long time. It’s becoming realistic to ask if he will break his own record or not and bring home his second career MVP Award.
