The New York Yankees captain has made franchise history once again. Aaron Judge was stellar in last night's 7-1 victory over the Arizona Diamondbacks. Going 4-4 with 3 home runs and 6 RBI, Judge paved the way for the Yankees 78th win on the year.
With Judge's 3 home runs last night, he became the first Yankee in history to record multiple 3 home run games in the same season. Along with this, Judge also became the second player in MLB history to have multiple games with 3 home runs and 6 RBI in a season, the other being Jeff Bagwell in 1999.
Aaron Judge is the face of the Yankees and for good reason. After breaking the American League home run record just a season ago, he now has 35 in 100 games. Over a span of 162 games, he is projected at 57 home runs. Injury kept him sidelined for a big chunk of 2023.
